E-Fed

I really think this site would benefit from the inclusion of an E-Fed. If any of you are unsure of what an E-Fed is then I would be happy to explain but I assume that you all know already.

An E-Fed is a fantasy wrestling game. Users get to play as wrestlers (Shawn Michaels, Raven etc) and compete against each other in matches. You have a GM, who writes the weekly show and PPVs. It's his job to make cards and decide winners etc. But the winners of matches should be based on the quality of users Roleplays. Roleplays should have their own forum under the e-fed section (with a forum for the weekly show and PPVs too). Roleplays are basically promos. So you write out a promo which suits your wrestler and if it's better than your opponents, you win the match and ultimately go on to become WWE Champion or whatever.

Get out of hand? Come on man, it would attract users to the site and give them something fun to do when topics aren't open. On every site I've been on, they've created an E-Fed and it's been a success. If you want this forum to grow, that would be a good first step.

I've played games similar to what Mattitude is talking about, they're loads of fun.

You'd have to have a show for people to RP for. No one's going to RP for fun. They want to win matches and title belts.

I can see it now: The WWEF Championship on my waist! muhahaha! No, guys, I have a feeling we'd be busted for copyright laws if we use actual superstars. We should make up our own!

You don't get busted for using real wrestlers and titles as it's just fantasy. I've seen it done on countless E-Feds but you can have CAW E-fed too. That works just as well.

It does get out of hand from immature users.But i do agree with Mattitude, We should have a e-fed section on here i would be extremely active on that since i have tons of experince, With E-Fed's.

I'm warming up to the idea but I have no idea how they are ran , and it really is'nt up to me:(.

I can help run it but I can't write the actual shows.

Well if we posted the weekly show every Saturday, that could work. We could call it Saturday Night Slam and the promotion could be called World Wrestling Syndicate or something like that. Titles to start would just be WWS World Title and the WWS Tag Team Titles but we could add a mid card belt later on.

I like this idea,if things got too out of hand Boogeyman could always close it,couldn't he?

If done right an E-Fed would be an excellent addition to the site.
Gives users a chance to interact with each other and allows everyone to act out a few storylines they would like their favourite WWE to be involved in.
Not to keen on made-up superstars, really like the idea of using actual WWE stars.

It would require someone with dediction.
